Thinking of therapy? Not sure if counselling is right for you? You can call me on 07935111147 to have a free 15 minute consultation, we can talk about the issues or present feelings you would like to work on and I can answer any questions you may have about the counselling process. During this conversation we can also arrange an initial session in my practice in Heswall (Wirral).
We will typically arrange weekly sessions, each session lasting 50 mins. There is no commitment to a fixed amount of sessions. Initially we will discuss how many sessions you feel you would like and when the course of treatment is nearing the end we will review how you are progressing and whether you would happy to work to our agreed end or whether you feel you would like to continue with the treatment.
During sessions we can explore area's that you want to work on in a safe and confidential space. Sometimes in life we don't know what we want to work on, we just know that "something's not right" or we feel "low" or "down", through the counselling sessions we can work together to address these feelings, giving you the chance to process, understand and manage these in order for you to live the life you want.
Fees:
Individual Counselling - £45 (50 mins)
*Kindly note there is a 24 hour cancellation notice period for all appointments. The full session fee may be due should cancellation be made within this time.
Depression, Fear, and Anxiety are uncomfortable and distressing emotions that we can experience in our lives. Through counselling and treatment, you can recover motivation, develop healthy coping strategies, and find the happiness and calm that you are searching for.
Changes in our lives such as Divorce, Child Birth, Life Stages such as Adolescence and Menopause can be difficult for us to process at times. Counselling can help you to make sense of your experiences in order to regain that sense of ourselves and find peace once more.
Many people can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can we can experience post traumatic events. counselling can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through a process of healing.
People don't always come to counselling for "issues" they'd like to work on. Sometimes we may feel that we would just like to "know ourselves better". If so counselling can offer a space for you to explore "you", how and why you are thinking as you are.
When we need support and understanding when grieving the loss of a loved one counselling can offer a space to share your experience, and an outlet to channel your grief.
